Keep your auto under a cover as much as possible as the rain makes rust a quick problem, get a tarp or car cover or carport built asap if you can afford to.

Plant Etiquette – You should ask for permission before taking a fruit (coconut, banana, papaya, avocado, etc.) or a plant, part of a plant, flower, many flowers, etc. You can buy flowers and foods so cheap that you don’t really need to take them in the wild. Be careful of not damaging plants unnecessarily, as it could kill them. If every tourist or person residing on this island takes all they want indiscriminately then there will problems later on. In some areas it might be ok to forage a little but I’d ask for advice. You want to be careful of rats and centipedes, wasps etc. if you do forage. Also be careful not to get hurt or cut, if you do, wash wound like crazy and treat with antibiotic type cream and bandage. You don’t want to upset someone that owns the stuff you are taking either, so just be aware and be considerate of nature in general as well as the land/home owner
